Experience
I have performed hundreds of vocational evaluations in both litigated and non-litigated settings. I have been qualified as a Vocational Expert in over 1,000 Social Security Disability hearings and before the courts in New York Supreme, the State of Missouri, the National Labor Relations Board, the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings, and in arbitration proceedings. I have been appointed as a neutral vocational evaluator by the Civil Branch of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, New York & Westchester Counties.
I am experienced in providing vocational evaluations in a variety of case types including personal injury, workers compensation, divorce/marital dissolution, wrongful termination, employment discrimination, Federal Employers’ Liability Act (FELA) matters, commercial trucking, National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) matters, and vocational rehabilitation services administrative matters.
Expertise
I am particularly experienced in evaluations that have an intersection of physical, mental health, and cognitive concerns. I have advanced training and experience in administration of complex vocational testing including comprehensive academic achievement testing, vocational cognitive testing, expressive and receptive language assessment, vocational interests & aptitudes assessment, work styles assessment, manual dexterity testing, and visual motor integration assessment.
I have developed a unique methodology to retrospectively assess labor markets years into the past. This includes an integration of publicly available and private labor market data to provide a snapshot of actual jobs available in the past within a specific labor market. The assessed labor market can be as small as a single city or as large as the entire United States. This type of analyses is helpful in assessing job search diligence in the years prior to an evaluation or any matters where significant time has passed before the evaluation.
